I think this is the albino who died old in the county home, in 1925, not his uncle Fielding Wilhite, who died in 1908. The obituary seems to say that he was the son of William B., but people in Clinton Mo, who remember him say, no, he was the grandson of William B.

Fielden Means died at the County Home Farm, March 12th. He was a true Albino. He was a familiar figure on the Clinton streets for years. made his home with his brother Levi B Means until about 40 years ago. Since then he had been at the County Farm. bedfast for 5 years. Rev A N Lindsey conducted a graveside service at Englewood.

Ernest Lee Shields Dead.

Ernest Lee Shields, formerly of this county, died at his home at Edgar, Nebraska, April 20, 1929, at the age of thirty-nine years.

Mr. Shields was a son of the late Lafayette and Mary Shields, of Howard County, and was born five miles east of Fayette February 5, 1890. He was married to Edna Earl Moon December 21, 1910, and to this union one son, John Bedford, was born. His wife and son, two sisters, Mrs. Bessie McMillan and Mrs. Ollie Settle, and five brothers, Gus, Turner, Frank, Montie and Orville, all of Howard County, survive.

He moved with his wife and son to Edgar, Neb., in 1915 and the family has since resided there. In early life he united with the Baptist Church at Mt. Gilead and after moving to Nebraska became a member of the Methodist Church of which he was a faithful member until the time of his death.

Those attending from this county were Mrs. Bessie McMillan, Mrs. Ollie Settle, Turner Shields, Mr. and Mrs. Montie Shields, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Moon, also Mr. and Mrs. Ed. B. Maxwell, of Huntsdale.
